Richard Paff of California is undertaking an ambitious project:
To add a roof and a formal stage area to the school basketball
court.  This would be valuable, because it would make it possible
to schedule graduations, concerts, and community celebrations
without the threat of last-minute rains.  The total cost of the
project will be about $26,000.  He plans to raise funds by travel-
ing all of the 48 states, and shoot a basket in each state.
Sponsors will pledge an amount for each basket made!

      CHRISTMAS BASKETS
It is a tradition to provide a Christmas basket for each child
and family at the school.  These baskets contain a gift for
each child, plus needed food staples for the families.
The distribution is preceeded by a Christmas party in the
morning for all of the children of the school.  These gifts
go to all of the children of the school, not just those who are sponsored.
