COMPLETION OF CLASSROOMS
We are in the finishing stages of construction of our school library, computer room, and pre-school classroom. The walls are up, and the roof is on. We need funds to put in windows and doors, put in ceramic flooring, and put railings on the lallway which is on the
third floor,

It is important that schools grow if they are to meet the growing needs of students. The New Dawning school was founded in 1991, meeting in adobe buildings with tin roofs, and no place for the children to play. Today, the school includes a covered basketball court (a must during the rainy season), a multi-purpose room, a par, and seven classrooms. The original adobe rooms now house a computer center, library and administrative offices. All of these have ben funded by groups, without using any funds from the sponsorship program, which specifically ge to academics-related expenses.

ENCLOSE OPEN ENDS OF BASKETBALL COURT
We have been blessed with a wonderful basketball court, where we not only hold PE classes, but which serve for special events and graduations. Both ends of the court are open at the top, and when it rains, water enters and floods the court.

We would be happy to host your work group, whether it be a group of 4 or 40 persons. We will assist you in making arrangements, such as hotels, meals, transportation in Guatemala, logistics in getting the materials you need to complete your project, and special events for our group while in Guatemala.
