CHILDREN OF LAKE ATITLAN Bringing hope and opportunity to a new generation

The mission of the Children of Lake Atitlan program is to support the education of children in the communities around Lake Atitlan, located in Southwest Guatemala.  We seek to support the children who are served by the program in their educational and physical development, and to support the schools who provide educational and physical opportunities for these children.

We are currently working through the New Dawning Christian School, an elementary school located in San Juan La Laguna, in the department of Solola.  All of the children who are in the program are either now students at the school, or are recent graduates who continue to be supported in their higher education .

All donations received for the Children of Lake Atitlan program are presently funneled through the Grace Covenant Church in Spring Valley, California.  The program is making plans to obtain independent status as a non-profit corporation.
